In the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, nine noble families fight for control of the Iron Throne. On her journey, she meets Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf brother of Cersei Lannister, who is currently sitting on the Iron Throne. Tyrion joins forces with Daenerys and falls in love with her handmaid, Missandei.

As Daenerys and her army approach Westeros, they are met by Jon Snow and his army. The two have a tenuous alliance, as Jon Snow wants to protect his people from the White Walkers and Daenerys wants to take back the Iron Throne. But when they meet face-to-face, the attraction is mutual and they end up sleeping together.
