Purple Day BTS


Purple Day BTS April 13 is known as “BTS Purple Day” to fans of the group, as it is the day that BTS’ debut album “2 Cool 4 Skool” was released. The album’s title track, “No More Dream”, was what started it all for the septet.

Since then, BTS has gone on to release five more studio albums, two compilation albums, four live albums, and numerous single albums. They have also won multiple awards and accolades, including becoming the first Korean group to ever win a Billboard Music Award.

BTS Purple Day is a day for fans to celebrate everything that the group has accomplished so far and to look forward to what they will achieve in the future.

This year, BTS Purple Day falls on a Friday, which means that fans will have the entire weekend to celebrate. There are sure to be many events and activities taking place around the world to mark the occasion.

So make sure to show your support for BTS by wearing purple on April 13th!

On a purple day, BTS released a special album titled “2 Cool 4 Skool” to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. The album contains 9 tracks, including the lead single “N.O”, which was composed and written by Rap Monster. “We Are Bulletproof Pt.2” was also included in the album as a hidden track.

In the same year, BTS won the “Top Social Artist” award at the Billboard Music Awards, becoming the first Korean group to do so.

On June 12, 2013, BTS released their first mini-album, “O!RUL8,2?”, which contains the lead single “No More Dream”. The album debuted at number 155 on the US Billboard 200 chart, making BTS the highest-charting K-pop album on the chart at the time.

In September 2013, BTS made their Japanese debut with the release of “No More Dream” as a double A-side single, which peaked at number 3 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

In November 2014, BTS released their second studio album, “Dark & Wild”, which debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the highest-charting Korean album on the chart at the time. The lead single from the album, “Danger”, peaked at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the highest-charting Korean song on the chart at the time.

In May 2015, BTS released their third Japanese single, “For You”, which debuted at number 3 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.

In November 2015, BTS released their second Korean studio album, “Wings”. The album debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it the highest-charting Korean album on the chart at the time. The lead single from the album, “Blood Sweat & Tears”, peaked at number 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the highest-charting Korean song on the chart at the time.
