kana kaanum kaalangal Tamil soap opera ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’ is set to resume shooting, with the cast and crew returning to work today (May 18) after a two-month hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The show’s producer Ektha Kapoor took to Instagram to share the news with fans, writing, “And we’re back!!!! Shooting for KK season 4 resumes today. Can’t tell you how excited I am.”
The cast and crew will be following all the necessary safety precautions while shooting, she added.
“We will be shooting in a controlled environment with minimal people on set and everyone will be following all the safety guidelines,” Kapoor wrote.
She also thanked the show’s fans for their “patience and support” during the hiatus.
“Thank you for all your love and patience. We can’t wait to be back on your screens,” she added.
Tamil soap operas were among the first to resume shooting in India last month, after the country went into lockdown in late March to stop the spread of Covid-19.
However, the shooting of ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’ was put on hold after some cast and crew members tested positive for the virus.
The show, which airs on Vijay TV, is one of the most popular soap operas in Tamil Nadu. It follows the lives of a group of friends in college and their relationships.
The fourth season of the show went on air in February this year. It stars Sharanya Turadi Sundaraj, Ashwin Jerome, Reshma Pasupuleti, Haritha Balakrishnan and others in the lead roles.jio sim validity without recharge 2021 university of peradeniya notable alumni first touch soccer 17 samsung m2 core price in bangladesh
