Shriram Madhav Nene Shriram Madhav Nene is an Indian-American entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is the co-founder of several startups, most notably the software company Hotmail. He also served as the vice president of product management at Microsoft. Nene has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Stanford University.

Nene is a self-proclaimed “serial entrepreneur” and has been involved in several startups since the early days of the internet. He co-founded Hotmail, which was acquired by Microsoft in 1997 for $400 million. He also co-founded Rocket Science Games, a video game company that was later acquired by Electronic Arts.
