Jerry Giangreco’s father was a Boston City Councilor from 1968 until 1995. In Pittsburgh, he met his future wife Cheryl Burton, who was then a weather forecaster at KDKA-TV; the couple married in 1982. They have two daughters together, Alexandra and Giovanna.
