My favourite fish

I have always loved fish, ever since I was a little girl. I would beg my parents to take me to the local pond so I could feed the ducks and in return, they would let me bring home a fish.

The one that got away

I was out fishing with my brother on one of our favourite lakes. We had been there all day and hadn’t had much luck. As the sun was starting to set, I decided to try one more spot. I cast my line out into the water and almost immediately felt a tug. I started to reel in my line and sure enough, there was a fish on the end of it. My brother cheered as I brought the fish in. It was a beautiful largemouth bass. We took a few photos of it and then let it go. That was the one that got away.

I was out on the boat with my friends, fishing and having a good time. Suddenly, I felt a tug on my line. I knew I had a fish. I started to reel him in, and after a little bit of a struggle, I got him. He was a big one! I was so excited, and my friends were congratulating me. We took some pictures and then let him go. That was one of the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had.
